The Creators Project

The Creators Project supports visionary artists who use technology in innovative ways to explore the limits of creativity. Artists working in different disciplines such as music, film, art and design, fashion and video games and whose work is inspired and made possible through these new technologies.

Ai Weiwei explains how the Internet has impacted greatly on his work and has earned him international recognition.

PixMob creates luminous human canvases with the audience, converting each of the attendees in an LED pixel.

The artist Olafur Eliasson, known for its extensive and immersive installations, creates art to share ideas and questions why we do things.

"Momentum", the massive installation of United Visual Artists (UVA) at the Barbican Centre in London, experiences in a vacuum of darkness filled with 12 illuminated pendulums swaying rhythmically from the sky, creating an immersive light and sound composition.

“Moon” is a collaborative art project by the artists Ai Weiwei and Olafur Eliasson, involving the creation of a shared online canvas that allows a global audience to leave their mark in the form of drawings.

And Amon Tobin called Tessa Farmer, a visual artist who organizes installations made with insects, animals and bones, and asked her to create scenes for each of their songs.

Eclectic Method

Eclectic Method (aka Jonny Wilson) started out as a digital outlaw who spliced together music, TV and film and set it to high-energy dance beats.
Jonny worked frequently with Brian Eno growing up between London and post-war Bosnia, and when he started Eclectic Method, he created a project so progressive that the simple tag of VJ would never do.

“Pop culture is reflected in the music of the moment, and EM can do what other DJs and visual artists cannot, which is bring it all together in real time,” explains Wilson, now based in Barcelona.

Eclectic Method accomplishes this vision on a global level. Wilson’s remixes have appeared on CNN and the Jimmy Fallon Show. And U2, Fatboy Slim and Phish all sought out the Method to create official video remixes. A decade ago, corporate lawyers chased Eclectic Method for his digital piracy, but these same companies now chase EM for his unique skill set.
