The city district Amsterdam Osdorp recently merged with Slotervaart and was given the name Amsterdam Nieuw-West. This change also meant the end of 20 years of restructuring urbanized areas. To celebrate it, a book was published. It gives an overview of the architectural highlights. PlusOne was asked to create an intriguing video.

This movie shows how the northern European airspace returned to normal use after being closed due to volcanic ash from Iceland. Due to the varying ash densities across Europe, the first flights can already be seen in some areas from the 18th April. By the 20th April, all airports were opened again. The movie was created by ITO World, based on the data retrieved from Flight Radar 24.
