His artistic creations have graced the exhibitions of esteemed institutions worldwide, including ZKM (Karlsruhe), Ars Electronica (Linz), ArtFutura (Rome), SAT (Montreal), Sonar D+ (Barcelona), the California Academy of Sciences, and San Francisco’s Exploratorium.
ArtFutura 30 opens in Valencia
2 / 25 / 2023 – ArtFutura 30 Exhibition
On March 1st at 7:00 p.m., the ArtFutura 30 exhibition will open in the exhibition hall of the Polytechnic University of Valencia. This exhibition will take visitors on a journey through the evolution of art and digital culture since the last decade of the 20th century and its projection into the 21st century.
The exhibition holds many surprises, but one in particular is noteworthy – the first computer drawings created by the artist Jean Giraud (also known as Moebius). The UPV deserves credit for their impressive work in recovering these files.
The exhibition also includes a Virtual Reality experience where you can go through the thirty editions of ArtFutura. A work by Teresa Tomás, David Pérez López and Paco de la Torre.
The exhibition will remain open until April 5.
Hours: From 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and on Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

After a very difficult time for all of us, ArtFutura faces its new edition with the hope of returning to its usual programming.
Among our projects, two exhibitions: A great 30th anniversary exhibition and a second focused on the evolution of digital representation.
We also continue with our project of a new book+video, which will cover the first thirty years of ArtFutura
Over the next few months, we hope to update our calendar, as well as the audiovisual program. And there will be surprises. Good ones.

ArtFutura at Kunstkraftwerk Leipzig
09 / 09 / 2020 – ArtFutura is presented for the first time in Germany.
In what means the beginning of a new stage after the situation generated by the coronavirus COVID-19, ArtFutura will be presented for the first time in the city of Leipzig.
It does so, hand in hand, with an important center and museum: the Kunstkraftwerk Leipzig. Starting September 26.

Given the situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, ArtFutura temporarily suspends its presentations until further notice.
At the same time we have decided to focus on a new publication, which will cover these last thirty years and the evolution of digital creativity.
We’re also preparing a physical exhibition that, previously, will have a virtual presence.

ArtFutura in Langreo
02 / 04 / 2019 – The city of Langreo has an appointment with the festival Art Futura and the best in Digital Culture, Electronic Leisure, Virtual Reality, Computer Animation and Special Effects.
On April 4, 5 and 6 at 8:00 pm, the audiovisual program of “Humanized Technology” will be screened at the Nuevo Teatro La Felguera in Langreo.
ArtFutura is also presented between April and May in Ibiza, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Tenerife and Zaragoza.

25 / 03 / 2019 – Between the 6th and the 16th of April, the municipalities of San José, San Antonio and Ibiza will host the presentation of the ArtFutura Audiovisual Program on the island.
As every year, special sessions will be organized for students from different schools in each municipality.
In parallel to the presentation of ArtFutura, the art with technology studio, Nourathar, presents, in the exhibition hall of Can Jeroni (San José), a new series of audiovisual devices and artifices that combine augmented reality with obsolete technologies.
The programming of ArtFutura in Ibiza is possible thanks to the collaboration of the Beep collection of electronic art, the Abel Matutes Foundation, the Consell d’Eivissa, and the town halls of Santa Eularia, Sant Josep, Eivissa and Sant Antoni..

ArtFutura in Madrid
06 / 11 / 2018 – ArtFutura is presented in Madrid on November 30 (Friday) and December 1 and 2 (Saturday and Sunday).
In the space of Fundación Telefónica, the complete audiovisual program will be projected. An afternoon wiil be devoted to the edition’s theme, “Humanized Technology”, as well as a presentation of artist Marina Nuñez.
Marina will present its virtual reality installation “Fallen Angels”. New technologies applied to art have allowed Marina Núñez to reinterpret, in collaboration with ARAN, the work “Ángeles caídos”. Equipped with VR glasses that expand the perception, the user will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in an immaterial environment similar to the spaces generated by science fiction, realizing an utopia as ancestral as human: the desire to fly.

ArtFutura Barcelona
25 /10 / 2017 – ArtFutura 2017 is presented at the Arts Santa Mònica in Barcelona starting on October 26 and during two weekends. The presentation of the Premiere will take place on Thursday 26 at 7:00 p.m. You can find the complete program on the center’s website: ArtFutura@Arts Santa Mònica.
